Newbies will never spend time to read. They just whack anything for the sake of trying it. And this group of anglers normally will think that ultralight can do anything like any other games. This is wrong. It might but not everything and it does not have same concept just like medium or heavy video game. Ultralight is not intended for heavy game because it does not have strength to push/pull big fish out out of heavy cover area. You are likely to break your line and worst case break the rod if the setup is usually not properly balance or handle.
